Just come along on the day to participate in the various activities set out, all the family welcome!
To do things that we as a family had not previously been able to – we could not go out as a whole family, as disability is embarrassing for siblings. To have a party and not cringe at your child’s behaviour – that they feel “normal” and don’t “stick out”. Having the chance for family time together where everyone can relax and not worry about what others think – invaluable.
The “New Horizons” course and “Anxiety Group” – these both gave me many useful strategies and led to a network of mums who I still see regularly.
