Volunteering Opportunities – Families In Focus (Essex)
Volunteering is the perfect opportunity to get involved with Families In Focus and to see at first hand how you can make a real difference to the lives of the children and families that we support.
"I have been a volunteer for Families In Focus since January 2006, and have found it to be very rewarding. Initially, my decision to volunteer was because I had some spare time, and because I felt I had something to offer. Since my son's diagnosis of Autism in 2003, I have learnt a great deal from personal experience, and it is good to be able to share some of what I have learnt with others in similar situations. Families In Focus have supported my family and me over the years and it feels good to be able to help them continue with their good work."
We currently have the following volunteering opportunities:
- Helping at our monthly Siblings Support Group
- Helping at our weekly Saturday Activity Club
- Helping at our fundraising events and Family Activities
- Helping with administration support for our office and information service
If you would be interested in helping at any of our events and activities, either on a one–off basis or regularly or would like to know more about any of our volunteering opportunities please contact us.
